Lace-front wigs: "lace front" refers to the ability to part the wig at the front, hence its name. The cap is a stretchy full lace cap. The back of the wig has extension wefts sewn in. This design limits parting to the front only.

Full Lace Wigs: This cap is perfect for those who want unlimited styling options. Similar to the other options, it enables you to style your hair off your face. The main difference is that a full lace wig can part your hair in any direction. You can also add combs when you order it. 

Full lace wigs can be parted in any direction and feature an HD lace cap with bleached knots, available in Petite and Average cap sizes.

This option is available for all wig types on the site. We add combs and adjustable straps, making it easy to apply. The combs make the application perfect for beginners or for wearing with your natural hair.

Unprepared Wig

Ensure the wig is clean, conditioned, and detangled before styling.

  1. Gently detangle with a wide tooth comb, start at the ends

  2. Fill a sink with cool or lukewarm water. 

  3. Add color-safe shampoo to the sink and thoroughly mix 

  4. Dip the wig in the sink several times

  5. Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear

  6. Apply conditioner to hair, avoiding the lace, and comb the hair

  7. Leave the conditioner in for  20 minutes

  8. Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear

  9. Blot excess water with a microfiber towel and refrain from twisting or ringing the hair.

  10. Deep Conditioning: Use color wow deep conditioner after every four wears, following the product instructions

  • Air Drying: Air dry on a wig stand.

  • Blow Drying: If necessary, use the lowest heat setting and a diffuser. Avoid twisting or wringing.

Detangling: Detangle dry hair with a wide-tooth comb or wig brush, starting from the ends.

  • Apply purple shampoo to enhance blonde shades, and use green toning shampoo for brunette hues. Alternate between regular and toning shampoos to keep your color vibrant.

  • Sun Protection: Protect from direct sunlight. Store in a satin bag or box.

  • Color-Safe Products: Use products for color-treated hair

  • Heat Protection: Always use a heat protectant spray before applying heat.

  • Heat Settings: Use the lowest practical heat setting.

Our wigs are made-to-order, so processing times vary:

  • HD and European Collection: 10-15 business days

  • Custom Colors: 3 weeks

  • Bespoke Wigs: 6-8 weeks

You'll find the exact processing time for each wig on its product page. 

Side-by-Side Confirmation

To ensure your wig is perfect before shipping, we offer a side-by-side confirmation:

  1. We photograph your wig next to your order details.

  2. We will send you the photo for approval.

  3. We will ship it out as soon as you give us your approval. If we don’t hear back from you, we'll ship it within 8 hours of sending the photo, so we do not delay delivery. 

Returns and Adjustments

72-Hour Satisfaction Window: If you'd like to request adjustments or a return, contact us at questions@finelacewigs.com (subject: Return Request + Order #) within 72 hours of receiving your wig. Please review our restocking fee policy associated with the returns below.

Restocking Fee:

Each wig is colored, cut, and styled when the order is placed. Because we customize each wig to order, all eligible returns are subject to a restocking fee to cover the stylist's time and order preparation costs, unless there's a craftsmanship error.

Each wig is uniquely designed according to your customized options. Because of this personal touch, we have a 20% restocking fee on eligible returns. This fee helps cover the stylist's time and the preparation costs associated with your order. Please know that this fee will be waived in the case of a craftsmanship error. We appreciate your understanding and are here to help.
