WHAT ARE THE BEST ALOPECIA HAIR WIGS?
The best Alopecia hair wigs will depend on how you desire to apply and style your hair.
Our top-lace Wigs are the most popular for Alopecia Patients because they offer full coverage, silicone, and ultra-fine undetectable lace. The high-definition lace makes the cap breathable, while the silicone helps keep the wig in place. Our wigs for alopecia can be with adhesive or without. The lace area of the wig defines where it can be parted. The lace goes from ear to ear across your hairline, giving you six inches of parting space in the crown.
At the back of the wig cap, there is a stretch material that's similar to nylon with adjustable straps to give a secure fit; if you desire to part the hair in any direction throughout the wig, a full lace will be the best wig for alopecia.
WHY WE RECOMMEND TOP LACE ALOPECIA HAIR WIGS
Our lace wigs for Alopecia are designed to be simple to put on and offer an incredibly natural look.
Even though the wig features a total lace cap, it is still considered a "top lace" because you can only part your hair at the top of the wig. We recommend lace top wigs for alopecia because the hairline is natural, while the back of the cap is secure, durable, and breathable. You can part your hair in any direction in the crown while still having that natural scalp illusion for a realistic hairline. If your insurance covers your wig for alopecia, you may only be able to file one claim a year, so we recommend top lace wigs for alopecia because they last longer.

CARE AND CLEANING ROUTINE FOR HUMAN HAIR WIGS
HOW TO WASH YOUR WIG
What You Need
- Sulfate-free shampoo
- Sulfate-free conditioner: To maintain moisture and softness.
- Cool or lukewarm water: Hot water can open the cuticles excessively, leading to dryness and frizziness
- Wide-tooth comb or wig brush: For gentle detangling.
- Clean basin or sink: To hold the water and wig.
- Towel (microfiber is best): For gently blotting and drying.
- Wig stand or mannequin head: For air-drying the wig.
Optional:
- Wig detangling spray: To aid in removing tangles.
- Wig leave-in conditioner: For added moisture and protection.
Let's Get Started!
AVOID SHEDDING
A quick tip: Seal the knots between washings on your Human Hair lace wig
Optional: You can use your shine mist to tame any frizz, flatten roots, add additional shine, and tame any flyaways.
WAVY HAIR DAILY ROUTINE
We've found a helpful YouTube tutorial demonstrating how to style wavy/curly hair wigs. This video showcases various techniques to enhance and define the natural texture of your wig. Watch below to learn how to achieve beautiful, styled looks at home.
What You Need
- Wide Tooth Comb
- Spray Bottle with Cool Water
- ORIBE Sculpting Crème
- ORIBE Dry Texturizing Spray
Let's Get Started!
- Spritz your hair with cold water until it is slightly damp to reactivate the wave pattern. Cold water allows your hair to retain its moisture and shine between washes.
- Apply a quarter-size amount of your sculpting curly hair cream or spray of choice and rake it evenly into your hair.
- - After applying the curl-enhancing cream, scrunch your hair from the ends toward the roots.
- Optional: For the additional volume part, divide the hair into two sections. Lightly spray each section at the roots with the texturizing spray and scrunch your hair from the ends upward toward the roots.
- - Allow your hair to air dry or use a diffuser to dry your wavy tresses.

Applying your wig with Hair
Prep Your Hair:
Goal: Get your hair as flat and smooth as possible.
Short hair: Braid it or slick it back with gel and bobby pins.
- Long hair: Make a low ponytail, wrap it into a flat bun, and secure it with bobby pins.
Wig Cap:
Why?: It helps keep your hair in place and creates a smooth surface.
How?: Gently stretch the wig cap over your head, tucking in all your hair.
Wig Prep:
Adjust: If your wig has adjustable straps, find a snug but comfy fit.
Trim the lace: (If it's a lace front) Carefully trim the excess lace along the hairline, leaving about 1/4 inch. Don't cut the hair!
Put it On:
Position: Hold the wig at the front and back, then gently pull it over your head.
Hairline: Make sure the wig's hairline matches your natural one.
Secure: If it has clips or combs, secure them to your hair or the wig cap.
Style Time!
Style: Brush, comb, and style your human hair wig like your own hair (use heat protectant with hot tools).
If you DON'T have bio hair:
Clean Your Scalp:
Why?: This helps the wig grip better and prevents irritation.
How?: Use a gentle cleanser or alcohol-free wipes to clean your scalp.
Wig Cap (optional):
Why?: Can add comfort and security, especially if your scalp is sensitive.
How?: Choose a cap that matches your skin tone and put it on like a regular cap.
